Isn't there a calculator or formula that would tell me how many cups, teaspoon, lbs of salt i need to add to X amount of water in order to reach a certain SG level?

I have a 120gal aquarium. In your article you recommend that i get a container that is at least 75% of the total volume of your aquarium. I don't know if i want to store a 45 gal drum in my appartement

Every type/ batch of marine mix could be different you need to measure the salinity to know exactly
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

How large is your tank & what are the inhabitants?

A huge +1 to bertie's comments above.

Not only is every mix different, but the mix is very strongly hydroscapic, so tankes up water when it is opened and thus changes weight/density constanly when exposed to air. The end density must be checked before use.
