Would anyone be so kind as to help me with deciding type?

I have 4 puffers, but am not sure what type of puffer they are. The pet store didn't know. Only that they are the red eyed type. (which anyone obviously can tell)
I'll upload pictures of them in this post.

There is one "fat" and then 2 very skinny (I think stressed and badly fed) and the fourth one is in the middle.

I would like to know if it's females or males and what type of puffer.

They were in a very very small and dirty tank for 6 months :-/
