I believe the plugs are there to prevent damage to the horns of the cowfish during transport.defool89 wrote:If that cow fish pic had better quality It be a great contender...i have no clue whats going on with that but i love it

Nice f8 Tim =P, definitely born to be a puffer model XD. I knew right away he'd win! I wish I had a better camera, the quality of my pic sucks, and unfortunately that hinders the beauty... very sad, since my puffer is so darn beautiful =D.
No human being, however great, or powerful, was ever so free as a fish.

I wish I had a better camera too, the one I have is very old (10 years now, 3 megapixels ), but it has unbeatable macro features, sharp upto 1cm from object and a shutter time upto 10000th of a second. It's especially useful with those puffers that never want to keep stillG S P Freak wrote:Nice f8 Tim =P, definitely born to be a puffer model XD. I knew right away he'd win! LOL! I. took the shot of the cowfish out of curiosity.. Never knew they transport them like that... That wasn'the most friendly LFS around.. I had to take the shot sneakily.. LolTim wrote:That is it's mouth?defool89 wrote:Whats in the mouth then???

Cowfish, iirc, *can* release a toxin in the water when stressed or injured (and when they kick the bucket). Imagine it doing that at the LFS where most systems share the same sump.scpion wrote:LOL! Chance of this actually happening are probably very rare.
If the new tankis large enough I might opt to get one. Still trying to figure out what size will work the best with the space available

I would hate to be a the owner of a fs and have a disgruntled employee and cowfish at hand.. first you get the knowledge, then you get the cowfish and then you have the power.

I just wish I could take a picture of anything that didn't turn out a blur. No matter how sophisicated a camera I can still miss the perfect shot.Tim wrote:I wish I had a better camera too, the one I have is very old (10 years now, 3 megapixels ), but it has unbeatable macro features, sharp upto 1cm from object and a shutter time upto 10000th of a second.
