Whichever you can get to breed the easiest. Some will say to avoid the spiral shell, but they multiply like mad & keep your sand clean...

IMHO & IME, common pond snails are the easiest and most prolific. But their rapid reproduction gives you lots of smallish snails, which mature GSPs wont relish quite as much. If they will contne to take them avidly, they are great for growing GSPs, not as good for adults.
Common ramshorn snails are not quite as prolific, but if you move some out to other vessels for continued growth (restricted numbers per vessel) you can get bigger snails which they will continue to relish into adulthood. As I have multiple tanks and several have veggie filters, those are my grow-out tanks for the larger ramshorns.
I would never feed MTS (Malaysian Trumpet Snails) to any puffer. I have had incisor breakage with them in SAPs and F-8s and banned them from use as feeders. They could serve as prey for assassin snails.
