Cycling a tank with fish in it can permanently damage their gills & eyes.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Prime can be purchased off the shelf at fishy business by portslade station. Not a million miles from you matey
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Instead of spending money on treatments take your fish back and cycle your tank correctly if they won't give u a refund explain your tank is cycling and ask them to keep them for u

Amquel is a PITA and can play havoc with water parameters. It also is far more costly than Seachem's Prime.

The original Amquel formula was great, but it has been change multiple times, and none of those changes have been beneficial.

Hammer, Please strongly consider returning the fish no matter what. It will be cheaper in the end even if you get nothing for them and have to re-buy other fish, later. IMO, fish being kept in a tank full of ammonia and nitrItes is like a baby being kept in a room where both parents are chain smokers. The baby's lungs will be damaged and he won't develop properly. As well he doesn't have the ability or given the choice to move to a cleaner place. I don't mean to sound harsh but I think that my analogy is fairly accurate.

Trust me when I say that we members on all fish forums see uncycled tanks all the time...We also see the end results...All the time. Also, many of us have made the same deadly mistakes in the beginning. I know I did.

Good luck
There are many knowledgeable fish keepers on this forum willing to help and give great advice...The advice is free; What you choose to do with it gives it value.

I actualy did it. I added 7kg of cured live rock and plan to add more, the ammonia is now constantly zero or close to it before water change and the fish are fine and the finrot has stopped and healed up completely,.
