Setting up a SW QT Tank
My mom just got a 12g JBJ Nano to set up as a QT tank. Do we keep it cycled the same as a freshwater tank by feeding it daily? She plans on bare bottom with a little LR rubble and some PVC pipes. Any tips would help. What should be used as media in the basket? Yay or nay on turning the back into a refugium? The tank will be maintained on a weekly basis with partials. Are we missing anything? We will start fragging her Xenia soon to sell or take to the LFS as trade in, will it be okay to grow it out in this tank as long as no meds have been used in the tank?
