Never getting F8's

Never getting F8's
Today I went to my LFS to finally get my f8's. I tested my water, and everything was fine except my ammonia being higher before I left. And I know why that is, my tank was WAY overfed. It was practically at 0 before I left and now its around .25 .50, so now im back where i was

The ammonia should have been all the way at 0ppm before you went to get the fish...

i dont have fish, except BBGs to keep the tank cycled while I was at camp cause i couldnt trust my neighbor doing the foamless ammonia i had, the BBGs are fine, but I still want the puffers. I dont have a test kit thats why i got it tested at my LFS

You really should get a test kit of your own. It's a must-have for any fishkeeper.
