Feeding reeeeaaaallllly small MTS?

Post by Pufftastic »

My favorite LFS said they'd be happy to give me baby pest snails from their tanks to feed my new F8s. Unfortunately, the only kind they seem to have are the ones with cone-shaped shells (Malaysian Trumpet Snails, I think).

The snails are super-duper small -- really really teeny-tiny. But my F8s are small too. Are the shells on even itty-bitty MTSs too hard for puffer teeth? (My F8s are about 1 inch.)
Yo ho, yo ho, a puffer's life for me.

I wouldn't chance it. Pond snails are what you want.
