Stressed puffer
I have a GSP with a white under belly. I read your library and it said that the Grey/black is color is stress. Why? I have a 29 gal brackish tank. lots of fake plants and rocks/ caves to hide in. he was really active and things were fine. now he sits under one of the rocks and just hangs out. when he comes to see me hes really Grey. But after a moment hes normal color again. Does he just miss me or is he really freaked out, We have had him for 3 weeks and was doing great just this week I have noticed the changes. I'm worried. He eats well so that's not a problem I already have him eating out of my hand. Hes got a tank mate f8 that he was with at the fish store. the f8 hates me and the entire family any ideas on how to bring him around?

Your f8 and GSP are not compatible tank mates; they require different water parameters, and the GSP will get to twice the f8's size. The 29 is just big enough to house the GSP alone. Read here: http://www.thepufferforum.com/articles/ ... togsp.html

There is an excellent article on Puffer Dentistry in our Hospital Forum. Could you post your water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH SG)?
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
