Need to know what test kit to buy
Okay so I need a new tester kid and I don't wanna use the strips again cause I just don't trust them so what type of liquid test kit should I get? And my GSP is in brackish water with a S.G. of 1.015... So should I get one for saltwater or freshwater?

SW liquid test kit
Edit - In Low end brackish water (1.010 / 1.008 or less) we could use FW test kit

Get the API freshwater master kit, it will also test salt water, you just need to look up the color chart.

Probably just still go by fw, the biggest difference is the ammonia test gets milky with higher salinity.

Yelling removed.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Re: Need to know what test kit to buy
do the test kits ever "go bad"? I've had mine since 2008 (I think) so I was worried about the chemicals losing their strength/power? (I can't think of the right word I'm wanting to use x.x)
