Re: Show your face!
BONJOVI EVERYONE!
Thought i would start off with introducing my self!

That is my mother, everyone calls her MOMMY!
and about 20 meters from there i found my turtle which was the size of a quarter about to get run over by a car.

went sorta something like that. which lead to me buying 3 diferent fish tanks, before currently stopping with one i have now, 150g.
where i fell in love with a MBU, and ready for all the more upgrades to come.
my MBU Gus lives happy in a comunity tank, with Frank the Turtle! 2i.d sharks, 3 mono, Silver Gar Pike, 1 Pictus Carfish, Opal Guiarmi, Tiger Datnoid, angelfish , and Franks best friend the Pleco. who actually play together, chace eachother, lie next to eachother, pleco will stick on his shell and let him swim around, and i swear they have stairing eye contests all the time, the pleco seems to always win! ( and yes once tje fish get to big it will be upgraded, or fish sold/transfered to another home
But Frank and Gus will be Staying, thats a given! they are my children, the others are my cousins, still fam but yeah... lol
but Gus! omg, i have never experience such a bond with a pet, let alone a fish! its weird, but so fulfilling when you can see the joy and happiness in there eyes when they see you. Very Active, very healthy, his sisters not thought
i still see her at fish store, and always just lying around, its so sad i wish i could purchase. wish i had my own place to make such a tank possible. soon but dont think it will be soon enough.
anyways, im done rambling! Hey everyones And hope talk to you all soon!
ill update some pics soon
here is a video about 2 weeks after bringing Gus home and setting up of my new custom lightfixture. after moving this tank from my ex's to my place.
No casualties!

Wow, you have some real potential monsters in there!
Gar pike:

And the Iridescent sharks--well...

I hope you are planning on putting the monos in brackish water.

Re: Show your face!
oh yeah, i know their size. i have a friend who deals with exotic pets, aswell as really close with bunch of people from my aquatic store. water quality is perfect, fish are not stressed at all, and over time, they will be transfered to larger tanks.
Mono's dont have to be in brackish water, its just part of what they do in there life, and not all adults will move into brackish/saltwater alot are still found in fresh water. So They will stay untill they need more swimming room, very playful fun gorgeous fish to watch. and they do have a saltwater tank they will be moving too. with 2 small blacktip reef sharks.
i will eventually have a 1000g+ land/water habitat, i do want them to feel like there at home. and life can be about survival of the fittest. i want them to live the longest, healthiest life i can give them, whether its with me or without!
