Lesson for today

Post by xrayjeeper83 »

So I went grocery shopping today with my son at around 11, which is his nap time. He was acting fine, not sleep at all. So as I was going around getting stuff, I grabbed a loaf of bread and tossed it in the cart. About 5 mins later I looked in the cart and my son had grabbed the bread and used it for a pillow........

what funny storys do yall have about your kids?

My kids are 20 and 21 now.... but when they were little I worked second shift and my sister was kind enough to pick them up when she was done work and keep them overnight so they would not have to be awaken and taken home in the middle of their nights.

So my son was not more then 2 and 1/2 years old. As my sister is driving to her home and coming up on a set of traffic lights..... my son yells from his car seat behind her "Red Light" and she locks up her breaks thinking she was going to run a red light. In reality he was just learning to talk and when we would be stopped at lights he would name things he could see, a Red Light, a Car, a bicycle.... ect. So then all traffic lights for time being were called "Red Lights". So here we have a 30 something old woman who had been driving over 1/2 of her life.... listening to a 2 1/2 year old back seat driver!!

Another funny story...... Same son~same sister....... Her roommate drove a Bronco and my sister borrowed it, took my son to the store with her to get groceries. On her way out of the store, into the parking lot coming up to the back of the truck, my son starts screaming he doesn't want to ride in the TRUNK! She was going to put the groceries in the back of the truck NOT him!!

Kids ...... you gotta love them!

 Yeah they really do and say the wildest stuff at times..lol. My youngest is a nut. She is aways coming up with something to say that has you laughing so hard that makes you pee in your pants. Oh yeah like the other day we was in the car and I said Elektra, look at all those pretty flowering trees and she said "flowers stink, they smell like dog poo" I was like what and why do you say that? She said "they do, poo gets rubbed in them so thats why they smell bad" I was like noway and who told you this? was it your friends at school? She said "nope it was Jesus, Jesus told me that" I busted out laughin and asked her "where do you come up with this stuff anyways?" Now this kid will come up with wild and crazy stuff that you will not believe. Im afraid that she's going to turn out like me as she gets older because shes aready acting like me now..lol. Poor kid.
