I am jealous, it's absolutely lovely. How do you care for it?
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Thank you. =) And since I realized normally people post pictures to show a little more of their lives, here's a bit more... sorry for the picture onslaught!

This is with my bf (he was the one who bought me my puffer) on a roadtrip from SF to Portland
Image

Feeding stingrays in Florida (I am IN LOVE with stingrays and spent a good 3 hours in just that lagoon). Plus I kissed a dolphin, one of the best days of my life. =)
Image

My crowntail betta, Sputnik. The first and only fish I've ordered online...
Image

My delta tail betta, Merman, who was with me for a long time until he finally succumbed to a very large tumor after fighting like a champ for months and months. I still miss him.
Image

My Chihuahua, Frankie, in his Halloween costume! He's 5 lbs and even the XS size was too big on him, and the hood kept slipping over his eyes. Here he is, giving me the stare of death
Image

And one last, at a friend's party
Image

I spent a good couple of hours looking through this thread, I love all the photos and updates and look forward to being a part of such a diverse and interesting community of fish-loving people. =)

Why use conditioner for curly hair? You don't straighten it?
