He's about a foot across. I used to cut up the legs smaller for him when he was younger.

You got African cichlids in the same tank with him? I see a frontosa and a Dimidiochromis Compressiceps in there with him. Now that frontosa is not a fast moving fish..lol.

The frontosa has gotten in the way a couple of times but all in all, everyone is pretty happy together in there. There's also 2 giant clown loaches, Royal pleco & a 12" goldspot pleco that's about 20 years old.

Mine does. He's already taken a bite out of a clown loach, took out 10 tiger barbs and has taken down countless guppies and mollies. Now the only fish that enter his tank are 1" cons for him to chase around a bit. If he doesn't catch them, I do, and into my Ceylon tank they go for a total of about 30 seconds before my Ceylon takes care of business. 8)

99% of fahakas are vicious killers. I got the lucky 1% friendly fahaka.
