Re: New tank
Muhahaha....
As the tank stands, I get the bulkheads sealed and the tank circulating. Still cloudy as all heck, going to get the LR in to it with in the next 24 hours (it's currently in a 55 gallon to keep it live). It sucks but I lost all the life in the sump/refugium. It was teaming with bristle worms but they didn't have the proper circulation for 12 hours so I had major die off. I still do have stars and some life but not what I'd like...
Big Floyd fan, I've seen them twice.Long you live and high you fly
And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry
And all you touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be.

Re: New tank
I always suspected, but only recently tested, a theory that you can actually fix many small leaks on hard surface contact areas with krazy glue. No good long term if silicone, rubber, or other flexible sealant have been are used, of course, as its a very rigid bond, but it will last quite a while even there in an emergency. The nifty thing is Krazy glue will set even if their is moisture in the joint you need to seal. The gel is much easier to use on sloppy joint area.
No matter how magnificent your successes or devastating your failures, the worlds' approximately 5 billion impoverished people could not possibly care less.

Re: New tank
Yeah, this was a bad bulkhead gasket. I have the material in sheets here so I just cut another one, leak solved. The tank is clearing up and looking good. Wife and I are coming up with a stock list. Main being a Porc and some smaller stuff for color splashes. We've been kind of arguing about what can and can't go in the tank so I'm letting her decide and I am going to post here for the approval and why not. She doesn't believe me on some stuff as she is never dealt with SW.
