You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

A beta would be an excellent choice. Perfect size for the tank, very personable, colorful and easy to care for. Mine use to "dance" every time I got near the tank.

haha Pufferpunk stole the moment...

Yes. when you do the water change use one hand to stir the gravel and make the tank cloudy. At the same time, if you can, siphon off 1/2 the water.

I said before that I would post a water change schedule:
Monday: Feed morning, water change afternoon
Tuesday: Feed morning, water change afternoon
Wednesday: Feed afternoon, water change at night
Thursday: No feeding, water change at night
Friday: Feed morning, water change afternoon
Saturday Feed afternoon, water change at night
Sunday No feeding .. gravel vac and filter clean. Do not use tap water to clean the filter.

If you do get the betta, just start with that one fish & don't get any others, until you see if you can care for that & keep it alive for a while.

I can't get the gravel clean video up tonight because the battery died on the camera and I am waiting for it to charge.

I will post the video tomorrow I promise.

I checked youtube for gravel cleaning vids.. and some are good, but most are not good for your situation.

Just keep in mind that somebody with a great big tank will buy them and they will have a ton of room to live out their lives.

I forget, do you still have your pleco. If not, maybe you could get a few cory catfish on down the road.

Then it's probably not a good idea to get any cory catfish or any other fish right now.

you could only get 2 guppies?!?

I'd be angry too.. and stop shopping there. That is certainly NOT fair.

Now, that you have new fish for the tank, just watch them for a while to make sure you didn't buy sick fish.

And you can wait until Sat to do a water change :)
