Got bit about a hundred times by nosee-ums while I was painting a chair outside :?
Arms and legs covered with itchy welts!!

Did you ever paint an upholstered piece before? You take fabric paint and mix with a colored paint, dilute a bit and paint away. It actually came out pretty nice and sure better than the stains.

Not much today, but last night I got physically creepered on by a total creeper at a bar. There was a Latin dance night at a non-sleazy bar/bistro, and my salsa dance class went - normally we can't, because most of us are under 21, but this was a special 18+ night, so we could get in; we just got our hands marked to show that we couldn't buy alcohol. Anyway, there was a creeper who did all these inappropriate steps. He was six inches shorter than me, too, so it was kinda pathetic. But it was pretty funny, actually, and after he creepered on all of us, we made fun of him. Plus, he was a good dancer, so I did actually learn a lot. It was a great night, all in all.

Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Saturday: grocery shopping, then 7 hours installing a new dishwasher.
Sunday: assembling a desk, chair, and file cabinet I bought for oldest grand-daughter. Then tank maintenance.

 You beat me to my punchline...smart guy!

I'll get photos up later of the chair. I think it came out well but the upholstery is rough. I think I need to brush it down well with a wire brush or something to soften it up.

Today's been good. I got my delivery of my miurus puffer this morning before the deadline. I always feel a bit anxious when I know I've got a live shipment coming through the post or by courier, mostly because I'm afraid there's going to be complications and the puffer will either be sick or dead.
Anyway, my wee little miurus was fine and seemed to handle the journey just fine. I've not been doing much this week because I've not been feeling well, but am trying some new medication prescribed by the doctor, so will see how those go.
I have to admit that I am well and truly knackered tonight and don't plan on doing much more than pushing buttons on the tv remotes and lifting my iced tea glass up and down. That's it. I'm tired!
I cleaned BeeBoo's tank today, and it wasn't just a water change. I removed some things to give the tank a bit more space, and I moved some other things around hoping it would just make a nice difference rather than seeing the same thing all the time.
So it's being completely lazy the remainder of the night and hoping that something good will be on television later.

yesterday had to take my bike into the shop again for them to fix something that wasnt put together right the first time. It felt like the pedals were going to just fall off the bike. And thats not a fun feeling half way through a 30 mile ride

Well technically this happened last night around midnight

Got nailed by a Facebook trojan on my other computer. And I am always SO careful. This is a nasty social networking trojan, and stupid me, it was late, I was tired, I got a link to click on that sounded entirely plausible from one of my "friends" about a video she found with me in it. It wasn't

I worked for about 8hrs today on top of classes and labs. I'm pooped. We start collecting data on Saturday and we aren't ready. My "boss" is also off tomorrow so it's up to me to get everything finished and ready to go. On top of class. And an assignment that's due which I haven't started. And I need to go shopping to buy my uniform that I'll need on Saturday.

:flush:
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.
