So its day three of my emergency cycle in the new tank. George is looking great. I have been keeping a close eye on him since he was purchased from wal mart, but i see no signs of internal parasites or ich. Here are some pictures of his first crustacean (frozen raw white shrimp) feeding! He really liked it Let me know how you guys think he looks health wise, he is like a little baby to me already!

ammonia and nitrate are good. I just did a 75% water change about an hour ago, and i found Tetra Safestart and added that to my tank as well as Prime after i did the water change . I was told that was the brand that was replaced by biospira, but is for FW tanks. My SG is approx 1.003 at the moment. Im planning on keeping it between that and 1.005 until he gets a bit bigger. I got some cool new stuff for his tank, and even got him a couple live ghost shrimps for dinner

You should see results within probably 12 hours after adding the safestart (if the bacteria are still alive.) The biospira still works really well without refrigeration but im not so sure about the safestart since I dont anyone that has used it yet. Keep us updated on the cycle. The little GSP is looking good too.
