Re: What happened to you today :)
they can leave at 6wks if they are weaned.
mum stopped feeding them over a week ago, and really doesnt want much to do with the pups anymore
when they come out, she avoids them and goes into the house.
they have plenty of interaction with me and my family.
my son is having an operation on his head on monday afternoon to remove a lump, so this was a factor as well
in the pups going to the rescue.
it is a good rescue, i used to work there and they only rehome after homechecks etc have been done.

You should do what ever you think will make you the happiest. If it doesnt make you happy dont do it.Tigerlilly wrote:Thanks X-ray ..He's not being mean he's being nice I just feel like it's not working.. I never see him blah blah we hardly speak anymore cause we ran out of things to say, I just don't want to hurt him. It his birthday today too and I dunno what to do :/
Thats the problem with distance in a relationship, you dont get the "just hang out" time

Turned on my tanks lights earlier than usual.
Discover that nearly 90% of my puffer apparently poop at around 10 am, in unison. Nearly all my puffers were doing their business at 10 am. Even caught my DPs.
Weird day.

That is the classic response... most "abusers" and I am not saying he is one in the classic sense, have emotional / self-esteem problems. When they realize that the chain has been broken they usually throw the apology thing at you then, make it as if they can't live without you.
Just keep in mind that if your lives and goals no longer coincide then it is time to part ways. Sticking it out and "hoping" for better in the future very rarely works out in reality and will only prolong the misery.
if you follow me, you avoid stepping in the crap that I just did...

+1 to J-P
First they throw out apologies..
Then they try psychology...an attempt to manipulate your behavior.

You do have friends here, Tigerlilly. That's a concrete fact.
If I might add that you are very young, about the age of my eldest stepson - things hurt but will improve with time.
God bless you, you have been through quite enough recently.

Re: What happened to you today :)
Purplecandle: You interrupted their morning poop!
Tigerlilly: Just as I was telling someone the other day (totally different situation, although I think it holds true...) If a person is unstable enough to physically hurt themselves over someone, they are not mentally stable, it's not healthy to stick around just so they don't hurt themselves. Breaking up sucks - it hurts, you learn, you move on. (I had happened to be in a chat room the other day on my ipod, and this guy was going on about how this girl in there was the best thing that ever happened to him... he wanted her to 'be his' forever, and he kept saying 'I love you, do you love me too? If you don't I'm going to kill myself..." She said, "I don't even know you, but on here I do." Then, to prevent him from killing himself - she agreed to meet him on Sunday.... I wasn't shy, and said straight out in chat that it wasn't smart.... Most of the kids in there are 13 or so (I feel silly, it's a chat room for a game - but as I wait for an opponent I usually mindlessly watch their inane fodder...)
As for me, yesterday was quite... entertaining.
Exercised... (yey me
)
Got to work and the fun began. Apparently they were taking bets on how many of the doughnuts one of the delivery drivers would eat in her 3 hour shift... Highest bidder said 3. She successfully downed 5 doughnuts, half a loaf of banana nut bread and polished off the butter-nut cream spread with it... Oh, plus a plate of spaghetti and meatballs, and two breadsticks. Then when she got home, she had a Big Italy Pizza Delivered...
Also at work, this couple that work there entertained us. Long story short, he called her fat (she's not) she got mad, and put an open can of sardines under his passenger seat. Should be an interesting find, if it ever warms up again. (I have a feeling that he may not really get any effect until then?)
Then, I get a text from my boyfriend who is out fishing with his brother. Motor has died, and they are stranded without oars. I get off at 11, and he wants me to call him then, to figure out how I'm gonna help them get back to shore. I'm stressing about it, as it's getting late and I can't think of anything I can really do to help them. Just before I get off work, he texts and said, "we're at mom's. swam to shore." cool... "Lost keys in lake." Crap. His mom drove him home. So I'm worrying about how we're going to work out the week of him working, trading off the kiddo and me being a delivery driver with One vehicle, while we wait for a replacement key to be made and shipped.. he has NO clue where his spare is, and it's one of those fancy ones for a new car. I notice he's not even trying to look for the spare, and isn't worried.
He finally tells me, "I was joking. Keys are in my pocket. Mom said I drank too much and wouldn't let me drive home."
Jerk.

Re: What happened to you today :)
I just wonder, if I can find a plastic hall table long enough to bolt an outboard motor to and take a gas torch to it to bend it to get a decent curve to skim water...?
I just wonder if I can surf the thing!!!
Crap joke aside, no one but an idiot goes out whithout a plan. If you do that, you put others in danger of loosing thier lives.
I have a powerboat ticket myself but would seek refresher training (£200 per half day) if I could afford a decent boat (10-15k in UKP). I'd like a nice RIB with one or two outboards and a 5hp put put for a backup. And oars.
A working radio is sort of important (sorry Mr. Huge container ship - MOVE!)...
Where are we anyway?
For now I play in the surf; on or off boards.... It's a kind of drown proofing and excellent excercise
Drysuit for SCUBA, two wetsuits and a hood and gloves for a play in the waves here if you want to be in the water for a while. Only the North Sea (UK), don't knock it for lack of swell - it bites...
