He was also kept in full freshwater at the pet store where he was purchased, and has been in full fresh with this other guy for 5 months. Looking at him though he's got a bit of fin roughness and tears and I think he'd be much happier and healthier in a brackish tank. I've got plenty of spare tanks laying around so setting up a new tank is no issue, I'd just like some suggestions on the best way to move him over, how slowly, etc to keep him happy and healthy.
Anyways, the biggest thing is that I want to find out what sort of puffer he is, for sure. Nothing I've found has matched up just right, but he is small (less than 10cm) so he could look different than a full adult.
