Dragging it up from the past...LOL

PP, I see you have plenty of corals in there with your tobies. I would dearly love to add one or two to my SW tank but as I've always believed they would tear up my corals, I've not done it as yet. The last issue of CORAL magazine has me lusting again for a SW puffer (small one). How has that worked out for you? I have a 90 gal full reef:

Those tobies were both removed after nipping on corals.

I have 2 small breed puffers along with a regal tang and a yellow tang in a 50g. 2 should be fine if you keep on top of your water maintenance and pair it with a similar size puffer. my two are a valentini and a jewel puffer. i'm considering a 3rd. you don't need to go mad with rock but you will need adequate caves etc. stick to a fish only set up too. :D

Yellow tangs are slow growers but figure on a minimum of 90g for the Regal. The 50g is just large enough for the 2 puffers only, IMO. Please, no more fish until you upgrade.

The Regal is only about 3 inch and has been for years. both puffers only reach about 4 to 5 inch and the yellow tang is same size as the regal. all small. i have a seperate tank if i ever need to move somebody out. believe me i wouldn't be cruel. they all have plenty of room and water peramiters are spot on :D

Considering the Blue/Regal tang is supposed to reach the adult size of 12", I'm afraid yours may already be stunted somehow.

yeah it's pretty much the same size as when i got it. before going in the 250 it was in my coral tank with a clown and a flame angel. not sure why he hasn't grown much. he's always had plenty of space for his size and my local marine shop are really good for trading fish back if they start to get a little big. :)

Darn it.... :( Oh well. Anyway, beautiful tank, and I too would love to see a current FTS. I bet it's a real show-stopper.

HOLY MOTHER PUFFER!
That is one gorgeous tank PufferPunk!
I hate to hijack this thread but please, please, please pm me with the specs on this tank (size, equipment, etc.) if you have time!
My husband has been nagging on me forever to start a reef tank and started flipping out when he saw your tank.

 That certainly didn't disappoint!! Wow, what a lovely tank. Do you have a thread anywhere with this tank's progress? I know you post on RC, and have read hundreds of your vit. C posts over there in the past. Is this the same tank?

That is the same tank as the previous shot, about 2 years apart. I'm sure I've posted specs on this forum somewhere.
