I got 2 DPs today!!
They just finished acclimating and I got a male and a female. They follow each other everywhere. I'm super happy with my purchases. Should I try feeding them now or wait until tomorrow? I forgot to ask at my lfs if they've been fed today... I got frozen bloodworms.

Congratulations on your new DPs! They must be large/old enough that you can tell their sex if you already know you have a male and a female. I would have loved if my LFS had slightly older DPs so I could have chosen better (I ended up with 3 males and 2 females, eeeek!).

Pufftastic, it's not so bad having more males than females. Usually in a group they work out a pecking order anyway, and I would guess that's what they will do in your case. You've got a nice big tank, and as long as you keep it planted heavily and give them lots of hidey places, they should be fine. I personally believe that DP's are most interesting in groups. I love watching mine interacting with one another, and how they all hang at the front of the tank when they are hungry. They make me smile, that's for sure!
