Yeah, thanks! I like rescuing bettas.

This one is weird...like he almost stalked me at the store and I didn't want him...LOL I wanted the red one who wanted nothing to do with me! hahaha At the last second I decided a fish who would literally jump out of his cup and kill the red one just so I could take HIM home; deserved to come home with me...

I kinda had to save him recently from myself because he was in a cold; unfiltered; unaerated; 1.5gal cube with no gravel; no plants...a neon cave and that was it...lol

Then I got serious when I found out he had fin rot/fin fungus [I was treating all the tanks for IP's; I really cared less about him back then because he was great] and then *HE* got IP's too and it was sooooooo annoying...

I put him in the 5.5 and fixed him up and when I dumped the saltwater in his tank causing it to crash; he just went into the 10 with the RCS & snails...

Lets just say through all of that; he still hasn't stopped wanting to be cared for & babied...lol Bettas are such underrated fish and now he gets the 10gal since he's such an awesome fish...

Here are all my male bettas BTW:

My 10gal started disgusting me...lol

The myrio had effectively taken over 50% of the tank and the frogbit had taken over the top of the tank blocking out 90% of the light from the bottom plants [myrio coulda cared less; but it was beginning to get leggy]...

In addition; my java ferns decided to float out of the ornament and GSA took over the glass & suction cupped objects...

Soo...after maybe 1.5 hours of cleaning:

Thanks! He was the one who stood out most; but there was also a sick orange one I soooo woulda taken home if I had the money & tank space... :(

I forgot to put his name. He is Loki. :D If you don't know it's the mischievous demigod known as the trickster. :P [He's not the only one; but his name is from supernatural[TV show] too]

He hates all the inhabitants of the 10gal...lol

Loki went into a 2.5gal for now...he'll eventually be bought a new 1gal....

Since Titanius, my mom's blue betta, died...She'll be taking Wendigo.

My mom also got her 40BRDR today. I'm so excited for her! She hasn't cared about the tanks since her 20gH cracked... :(

I'm having a hard time deciding if I want my 55 to be FW or my 29.

The 55 grows even tetras to be crazy big and I hate that. They start looking bad in this tank. A GSP gets big anyways; so obviously that's no problem and no real limit...

My opinion of a perfect FW tank entails:

1x Female Yellow Crowntail Betta
8x Rose/Glowlight Danios
1x Albino B/N Pleco
4x Kuhli Loaches
Red Cherry Shrimp, & Malaysian Trumpet Snails

And I think that would be OK in a 29gal and the "reef"[mainly frags from my nano] with the GSP would be better in the 55gal.

Opinions?

Yeah...The 55 will look AWESOME like that. :D

I forgot to mention Titanius[blue betta] died day before yesterday. :( He was a year old and just started slowing down.

After I cleaned the tank; I put Wendigo in there and he's happy[big bubble nest already]! I'm hoping to buy another one of those tanks and put Loki with[meaning next to] the other bettas...
