OKay, I was gonna wait a bit for it to clear, but here he go, Samson's new 90 Gal tank, I got a good deal on it and I couldn't pass it up, I have been saving for a bit, and my b-day money topped me up to get this tank, its 48X18X24, so there's lots of room for him, I havn't put him in yet, waiting for a bit, but I did
use his old media, gravel and the ehiem, so plenty of bac's :) Here ya go, enjoy :)

Looks good. Just make sure you don't leave that bacteria for too long without Samson. Don't want it to die on you. We'll need pictures of him in his new home too ;) Let us know what he thinks about it.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

I just put him in, and turned the lights off, he went right for his root LOL! I put that in every tank hes ever been in, thats his safe spot :)
He is doing fine, after about 5 mins, he came out and started looking around. I give he 5 more and he'll be beggin for food LOL!

just as i typed that, i looked over at him, and lo and behold, hes at the front looking for me LOL! I am gonna miss having him beside me, but I thought it best in that part of the house, less traffic, the girls like to run back and forth in front of the couch which is where he use to be.

I am so happy i found this tank when i did, he'll have tons of room to grow now, he was really starting to out grow that 50, on a side note, samson and a samll 5 gal for breeding tanks is all i will have by the end of the day, I have re-homed all my other fish, i need to focus my energy on other things, having so many fish was draining me..I hope noone thinks badly of me.

And I will post some pic of him later, once he's had some time to settle :)

Well its only been like a 1/2 hour and he is totally fine, I have never seen a fish get so use to a new tank, so fast?, I am thawin some BWs and a shrimp for him, see if he'll eat, its his feed day I took some pics of him, he is just getting so big, hard to believe he was so small You can see his boo boo on his tummy, its just about healed, it was about 4 times that size, I have been adding extra Stress coat, and its done wonders.

i ditched all my glass thermometers and got didgital ones... ebay is wonderful btw, got my didgital thermometers for $1 each free shipping, buy it now price wooo! check it out, they had all kinds of them when i was looking, all good prices too. i put the temperature probe inside the filter, that way theres no possibility of him eating another one

LOL! I think he is, everytime i come near the tank, he paces, looking for food, i am going to petsmart tomorrow to pick up some IP meds.. i tried the garlic thing, didn't see a diff, i am pretty sure he has IPs, I feed him a full cube of BWs and a shrimp, and by night time he's beggin for food again.

He is one beautiful fish! I've never seen them with alternating red and yellow stripes like that. Is his coloring unusual? Will it become more pronounced as he gets older, or is that juvenile coloring that will fade?
