My "Dream" fish list

Since getting my GSP (chico) I've been having such a great time with him and have developed the fish-keeping "bug!"

Anyway, I was trying to scheme a way to keep him with a list of other fish (as so many others have) when he eventually goes full marine.

Would this list of fish be a possible good fit?

Would loved to hear anyone's opinions!!!

75 gal FOWLR tank

1- lemon peel angel fish (6" full grown)

1- flamehawk (4" full grown)

1- blue damsel (3" f.g.)

1 - fuzzy dwarf lion (7" f.g.)

Added a GSP would cover all the "color" bases nicely!

Just curious how these might get along (as I know anything with a GSP is usually asking for trouble. :o

I'd probably nix the flame hawk & dwarf lion. GSPs can be serious fin-nippers. Think of some more fast-moving/tougher fish. Hawks generally lay around & rest on the rocks. Lionfish have very tempting flowing fins to nip at! I've never heard of a 6" lemon peel (or any other dwarf angel) but I suppose it's possible.

I could definitely nix the Fuzzy dwarf lion.

I kinda had my heart set on the Flamehawk (looks like such a great fish!)

Yeh, I'm pretty sure the lemon peel gets to 6" according to DFS.


Question #2: Maybe I will set up the above FOWLR tank (minus the fuzzy dwarf) and keep Chico (GSP) in his own tank. Then, I can try him out with the others and if I see aggression, I will put him back to his own tank to live out his life as a lone rebel.

Sound like a plan?
