Re: BIG Mbu at work!
Hes still in the 4x2x2 at the moment, hes a very active and happy fella with fins up and everything, gets very excited. He was living with a 5" ruby shark and still is. He was feeding on shelled mussle weve got a bag of that. The owner ended up buying a Potamotrygon dumerreli from us. Ill get new pix soon.flash.dan wrote:how much is he i may have a drive up at the weekend sold my chilli red arrow so i have free spaceoh another thing does the shop where you work sell EBJD's, JD's, Jags or Tex's i want to pad out bubs tank with some single specemins nice large cichlids

At the moment we have JD, texas, and a lot of other American and african cichlids. Best bet is to come down and see for yourself. Shop link and details are in my signature

Re: BIG Mbu at work!
Ive had loads of customers comment on him and compliment him this weekend, we had a customer offer us a lot of money for him (wont say how much but ALOT) But you could see the buyer wanted it for bragging rights and to show off more than anything, and the tank is nowhere near good enough, so was an instant NO!!!! We have good ethics
Also i spoil him alot, i hope that dwaine doesnt find out im seeing another Mbu on the side!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :O

Glad your shop actually has ethics with Mbu's, ever LFS around here sell them without even asking if they know how big they get, if you know what to feed them or your tank size

Re: BIG Mbu at work!
We were offered £450, that would have been a good profit and quick turn over but, it was a firm NO. If it had been a good sized tank and was going to a good home would have been considered and for less, but hes our pet nowIrisis wrote:you better hope that Dwaine makes no suprise visits to your work!

I had to tell the LFS I got Naboo from how big they get as they didn't know (or made out they didn't know)Irisis wrote:you better hope that Dwaine makes no suprise visits to your work!
