took the plunge

Post by side19 »

i finally did it. i got 3 DPs today. :D the tank has been fully cycled, current inhabitants are 3 DP's and 3 ottos. everything is at 0 (did a water change this morning and then tested) and everyone seems to be doing ok. the puffers checked out the ottos but soon lost interest as the were resting. going out to get them some very tiny snails to munch on tomorrow and picking up some frozen blood worms while i'm at it. any tips to get them to start eating? i'll keep everyone updated as things progress.

You probably won't have to do anything to get them to start eating. Give them a day or so to settle in, and then see how it goes.

gah!! I love DPs! I just picked up 2 more for my lonely dp. They're so cute! All three of mine have fat little bellies from hunting snails together.

The new ones didn't even wait a second to get used to their new diggs. They were hunting and playing in the 'water slide' in minutes!
