Winner of Puffer of the Year, 2008!!
And we are finally here! Time to vote between the winners of our monthly puffer photo contests from the entire year, to appoint the supreme champion!! The winner receives extreme bragging rights and a $25 gift certificate to The Puffer Store.
This year, due to not getting started until Feb, we will only have 11 contestants. Each thumbnail opens up to a full size image when clicked on, so feel free to view them at full size to help make your decision. Vote wisely, as you will not be able to change your vote. As always, voting runs for 10 days. Good luck to all!

- Brief description - Yawning in our aquarium, always has black tummy when aquarium lights are on

Marine tank, just beginning to show his/her adult colours. Gorgeous.

Size: 7/16" - 1/2"
Brief description: My new Dwarf puffer that seems to be fascinated with a floating moss ball in my 10 gallon planted tank, there are 2 other DPs in the tank, stock ratio 1m/2fm

Description : Elevator was just waking up, and I snapped about half a million shots to get this one.

Name : Cute Itty Bitty LFS Puffer that I can't own....sniff
Age : Unknown
Size : 8"-9"
Brief Description : A really healthy looking Stars and Stripes puffer that was at my LFS, Aquarium, on Sepulveda in Culver City, CA
September 2008 - recombinantrider

Species: Takifugu Ocellatus (Fugu puffer)
Age: less than a year old (I think), 4 months in this tank
Length: 4"
I like burrowing in the fine sand and pretend that I'm ambushing someone while I'm in partial disguise. I gotta say I don't like it so much when the prickly hermit crab walks all over me as if I don't exist though. Ugh! I wonder if I'm really that hard to tell apart from the sand, or that he's got horrible eyesight.

- Brief description: Our first saltwater fish – we bought a 90gal tank and set it up just for him! Put him on hold at the LFS while the tank was getting ready. We visited him just about every week for 8 weeks! He’s as friendly as any puppy! We love him!
