hi does any 1 know any other puffer i could put in with SAPs that get 6in or more,my tank is 400 litre and i have a couple off plecs in there with 3 SAPs

most puff that grow to 6in are what you would call aggressive.

I havn't heard of any that would really fit that situation. The only puffs I know that would go well in that situation would be Dwarf puffers. All the rest would probably try to kill the Saps.

400L is a good size. I would recomend blue acaras. i know there not puffers but mixing puffer species is a big no no. Blue acaras have the looks of chilids ( i think there cuter but im biast i do own 4 ) and there pasive!!!

some 1 said a young humpback puffer so they could grow up together,does any 1 think this would work?

I would definitely not risk it, and a puffer could change at any given moment.

do not mix puffers with any other fish usually let alone other puffers. the only puffers ive ever kept in a community tank with no problems ever are MBUs
