Hello
Can anyone tell me the needs of a topaz puffer as i am interssted in geting one, ie size, water type/parameters, tank size, etc

Usually called a Ceylon, requires min 40 gallons tank size, seem to do best high brackish as adults and many opt to go full marine. Requires lots of filtration, needs to start in an established, fully cycled tank as any trace of ammonia or nitrites are highly toxic. Like all brackish fish, requires real marine mix be used to make it's water, not table, rock or aquarium salt, which don't increase the carbonate hardness. A diet high in shell-on foods, like snails, is needed to keep the beak worn down. See Ceylon puffer in the Pufferpedia for full details.
