Is my tank cycling again?
Re: Is my tank cycling again?
i would but i dont want 2 fish tanks again. I did that and I just start to slack horribly because it starts to become work and not something i enjoy. this saltwater tank ive been enjoying more then any freshwater ive ever had.
Re: Is my tank cycling again?
just called one of my LFS, he said he can take him. im super bummed he has to go.
on the bright side, my new LED will be coming in today.
any suggestions for a puffer thats full marine, can be fine in a 40 gal for at least another year and is compatible with other fish?

Look at the sharpnosed species. Bluespot is gorgeous & valentini is very personable.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Even a 90g is a bit small for any of the larger puffs.

Re: Is my tank cycling again?
I love my valentini, always swims up to see if you are watching. Sleeps at very perculiar angles too lol
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
Re: Is my tank cycling again?
well i dropped him off. the owner is very awkward and didn't even offer me any store credit or anything but its better then him going to some random who doesn't know what he is. they had a baby GSP there too but we didn't get him. they had a peacock mantis shrimp as well for a great price and very small for the species but we didn't get him either because he would kill anything else we would put in there.
going tomorrow to a fish store much farther away to pick up a pair of clownfish and to see if they have any valentini puffers.

yeah im very bummed. really really liked that puffer, shame it ended up like this. but better than me torturing him with high salinity and finding out when its too late.
