Coralife 29 gallon Biocube
So today I picked up another dedicated reef aquarium. A Coralife Biocube 29 gallon acrylic aquarium. I added just over 60 lbs of live sand and added Microbe-lift bacterial aquarium balancer and Nite-out II to start my cycle. Eventually I will add some cured real reef live rock. I also plan on removing the bio balls which harbor nitrates and upgrade to the In Tank media basket system with a 3 stage filter/refugium.

Sounds like a LOT of sand. How deep is the bed? I think your bacteria "boosters" were a total waste of $$$. Just add live rock & go! Definitely nix the bioballs. No media necessary.
