Those worms on that web page are :yuck: I am nervous about sticking my hands into my marine tank after knowing what could be in there. :nervous:

I one day plan to get a SW tank going and this is one my BIGGEST fears lol. I have decided I will just buy dry rock or do DIY rock and use a bottle of Dr Tim's to get it cycled.

You're giving up on all the beneficial detritus-eaters?
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

I will just buy ones that are possible to buy. I am terrified of getting something nasty though, and it will be a long time before I get SW setup anyway.

My hands are in the tanks all the time & I'm still here. ;) You wouldn't believe all the cool creatures I see with the flashlight at might! One time I glanced up & under the moonlights, I saw a 6" corkscrew thingy dart across the entire length of the tank & dive back into the rock.

That's a bit scary. I will perhaps build myself up to actual liverock one day lol.

Have there been any more random dead things in your tank?

Yes I have continued to see these dead maggot-like things in my tank, I've been trying to clear them out and they are becoming less common thankfully
