Post by sample789 »

on the glass of my aquarium there are literally thousands of little tiny white shelled things that look like a nautilus shell. on some of the bigger ones i think i see little bristles coming out so i think there tube worms but i just want to be sure.

If they are circular in shape and about the size of a grain of sand, yes they are. They are not a problem and they come in to your tank with your live rock. Hope that helps :D
In an aquarium far far away... was a little grey puffer...

sounds like tubeworms!

Be careful when cleaning the glass as the tube worm shell can scratch the glass.

I need help on this subject to, I got live rock with a white tube with a red stuff popping out and when you make a sudden sound it retreads back in the tube.
Is this tubeworm/feather duster?
This is the first life sign I saw on my rock so I'm a little excited....;)

I believe you have small mud puddles mixed up with acres of rice paddies.
