Franklin My Sailfin

Post by pufferfreak »

Okay here we are. When he was acclimating in the bowl one of your parakeets flew into it!!! Thank god that she didnt scratch up franklin :). I had to give the parakeet a nice FW bath though lol. He has gotten right to cleaning up the algae and he is an excuse to upgrade. Since the tank is my dad and ours project i made sure he new it would get 15 inches big and that we would be upgrading to a 125g aquarium :D. He's only four 1/2 inches big though so we have about 8 months or a year...okay here they are. :D

Thanks. He's settled in quite well. Heres a picture of a close relative of his.....the desjardini tang. I hate to say it guys but i got bit by the tang bug. Seems its bite is more potent then the puffer bug at the moment :P.

btw that tang is the tang of the guy who owns the volcano tank. His tank is really cool. I would check his blog here.

Beautiful Sailfin! You need to get some clear shots. I love tangs too, all fish have their own beauty. To bad it cost a fortune to have & takes a huge amount of space & work to keep them healthy.
