I am looking for a fish or shrimp that can clean the bottom of my brackish tank(It has sand). A Diamond Gobie is too expensive, not to mention it is full marine.
I want something that will get along with my 3 Figure Eights
Thanks!

Re: Cleaners
This is a tricky one, I had a dragon goby in my brakish for awhile. Tank had some muskippers on branches on top of the water, a figure 8 swimming in between the branches below water and a dragon goby, unfortunately the figer 8 eventually started to eat the dorsal fin on the dragon boby and they had to be separated.
I have heard of a brackish loach( Botia Robusta) but have no experience with them,

Re: Cleaners
Not really, shrimps won't last long and I don't know of any fish that will help out without adding a greater amount of waste. Some have had good experience with Nerite snails but my Figure 8 constantly pecked at their feet.Ianb262 wrote:I am looking for a fish or shrimp that can clean the bottom of my brackish tank(It has sand). You have to do your own maid service for BW.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
