If your fish is unwell leave the salt level alone for now, ( it was yourself that had flooding ?)add QuickStart and get your tank stable and then slowly raise your sg. First priority is the fishes health
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

You have a gsp? If he is in freshwater now, leave it alone! If you start adding salt to an uncycled/un-established tank...you'll just start crashing your tank and wreaking havoc on your water chemistry.

Get your tank well established as a freshwater tank (I would wait at least a few months)...then move to brackish slowly.

Everybody considers puffers as sensitive fish...but in all honesty if they are healthy they are very hardy fish as long as they are in a well established tank that doesn't have dramatic water chemistry changes.

IDK about any "Quickstart", It's Tetra's Safestart you want & nothing else.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
