brackish to freshwater

how would you turn a brackish tank at 1.006 to 100% freshwater?? how long would it take so it doesnt effect the filter??

If you change 0.002 per week your filter will be unaffected, I assume there will be no fish in there? You will need to feed the bacteria. Probably better to tear it down and start over
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

the question was asked by a friend of mine as she keeps f8s in a sg of 1.006 and has lost interest and wants to go back to tropical.id take them off her and set a tank up but i love my gsp too much
