Lets get started! (making a brackish tank..)

Post by Aymbar »

Would like to say hello, and I'm glad I've joined this nice little forum..
Well, as it stands, I have a fresh water 30g tank, and I am picking up a Green Spotted Puffer for it tomorrow..
I know, they're brackish, but.. the pet store still has them in fresh, and I fear shock..
So, do I buy another tank and have it running to make it brackish? Or is there a way to take the tank I have now, and turn it brackish with the little guy in there?

Thank you so much !

You raise the salinity by .002 per week. You're gonna need a hydrometer or refractometer.

You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
