Hi there,
I'm setting up a tank for a GSP and want to have some live healthy plants in there for it. Does anyone have links or tips on how to keep brackish plants healthy and that won't negatively effect your GSP? What water supplement do any of you recommend to feed the plants?
I currently have a Hygrophila, Java Moss, Anacharis (Water Weeds), and one Marimo ball.
Thanks a bunch!

Thank you for the link! My salinity is at 1.008 but I may need to get it lower. I still need to find out from the store what level their keeping the tank at. I do know that they are keeping their GSP's in Brackish water, so that's great.

GSPs eventually need high-end BW: 1.015-18

Re: Caring for Brackish Plants
Hello this is my first post as I am just looking around and saw this. I am guilty of being a bit of a cheater but I use Seachem ‘brackish salt’ for my figure 8’s and my milk spots and I can plant anything I want. It’s a unique product for euryhaline species but still want a planted tank. It has done the job for me for going on three years. Unfortunately like the previous post said you will eventually need to get too salty for almost all plants once the gsp matured at which point you will need to switch to macro algae which can still be very cool.
