8" Raphael with 3" L46 Zebra?

Post by pufferjw »

Hello all,
I know that this isn't necessarily the best forum for this question but I got a new 55 gallon tank and I have a Raphael catfish and six wild altum angels. Yesterday, I found some l46 zebra pleco for sale for only $300 each, and I really want to get one. My question is could I keep one in my tank with the catfish? Or do I need to buy it it's own tank?

Raphael cats will eat fairly large fish. How big is it?

Hello Pufferpunk,

Sorry I haven't been on the forum for a while. I had to get one since the guy was selling out, so I decided to be safe and purchased a 20 gallon tank(I know it's a bit small there are no tank mates and I'll move him if he gets too big). Right now the pleco is about 3 inches.
