Is this Krill? Some health issues have been reported with feeding of too much Krill to puffers.

Yes the package says Krill, and then below it says jumbo shrimp ( I believe, I'm not home right now to look). Tomorrow I'll pick up a container of earth worms.

I feed frozen krill about once a month but limit it after I had read the lockjaw issue. Most of what my puffer gets is from grocery stores as opposed to pet stores. I have found whole shrimp in shell and will cut it up in pieces and feed a section every couple of days. Earthworms are good, but make sure to squeeze the dirt out before feeding.

Thank you for sharing the link! Man I would have never suspected when we first got Opie that he'd be so high maintenance, LOL, but we love him dearly and I'm actually having fun with making a home for him and keeping him safe and happy. It sounds like buying some frozen shrimp/mussels and using earthworms is probably the best way to go.
