My Red Oranda Goldfish has a Napoleon Complex.

Post by sgtmyers88 »

My Red Oranda Goldfish has a Napoleon Complex! He is a tiny little fish compared to the massive Calico Ryukin and he has the audacity to nip at his fins!

Thoughts?

Awwwww....he's soooo small :smitten: and the others soooo big  lol. With a tail like that floating around it must be really tempting to see if it tastes nice :D

The big Calico Ryukin is definitely a male as I saw his nuptial tubercles while he was harassing one of my Orandas who is also smaller than him. This was 2 months ago.

Damn guys, quit posting stuff about all these beautiful goldfish!! I really, really, really want a black moor, or 3 or 4 or 5. LoL. After detesting gold fish for so long, I have been shown how wrong I was. However, with the 60 still set up, and the 90 as a WIP, not including the 2 5.5s, the 10 gallon and the 36 gallon, I think if I asked Denzil for another tank he'd kill me.

HOWEVER!! I have gotten him on board! We went to a friend's house and saw a 450 gallon reef tank with corals and tangs, and Denzil is trying to figure out how to make space for a frag tank LOL. But, it seems like we may cash out on his stock options at his job, and that will give us more than enough money for a down payment on a home. Maybe one day I can have a HUGE tank with 3-4 black moors in there, with automatic water changers, planted, etc etc. Hey, a girl can dream right ;)
5.5g: Pond snails
5.5g: Red Cherry Shrimp and Rams
10g: PZ the Pee Wee (DP), Ghost shrimp, Otos x3
36g: Luau the F8, Zebra nerites x8, sometimes a herd of ghost shrimp for food
60g: Perches the starry blenny, 1 watchman goby Snaps the l.c. hermit, 2 emerald crabs, 1 red crab, 2 turbos, 7 asteas, 2 nerites, 2 clown gobies and 2 firefish gobies (upgrading to a 90 gallon reef)

RIP Yoshi, you are dearly missed <3
