Porky hunger strikes

Post by plzpizza »

Hello
so recently my lovely porky has gone on a hunger strike. He is not as active in eating anymore. Say he use to eat every day now he seems disinterested in his food and only comes to eat maybe every 2-4 days. He is now 2.8 inches long I got him when he was a tiny tiny baby eating brine shrimp. He 100% has been treated for ich by TTM and has gone through prazipro when I first got him. He is the only fish in the tank and I have never added anything foreign into it ever since. I feed him LRS reef frenzy and frozen krill

I dunno what's gotten into him lately he just seems so sad and stays in a spot in the sand. He use to follow my hand when i come to the tank now its like he doesn't know me anymore and just avoids my hand or doesn't respond to it anymore. :(

Parameters? What foods are you offering? Maybe overfeeding?

I don’t just feed krill. I’ve wrote that I feed LRS reef frenzy also. Also noted that my krill isn’t dried krill it’s frozen. I though lock jaw only happens when you only feed dried krill?

No, any krill, FD or Frozen. Have you seen him able to open/close his mouth?
