Puffer freaking out!

Post by Frajormeg »

I have got a spot and stripe dogface puffer and have had him for a few months. Every so often he has a freak out, he swims about like crazy, bangs the top of the lid and then settles down at the bottom. First time this happened he had seen my mum and has been a bit funny when she comes in. I think it could be something to do with the colour of clothes she has had on which was orange. Today I put a red bag on the worktop and he done it again.
Is it possible that they can react to certain colours?

Yes! Many puffers have an adverse reaction to red.
