So, long story short...
I have 4 fish in my 90 gal FOWLR tank- a Stars and Stripes puff, a Narrow Line puff, a Black and White Clown and a Mandrin goby.... the puffs are both relentless beggers and somehow in a matter of days have "taught" the other 2 fish to beg quite relentlessly as well... is this common, or do I just have a bunch of dummies??
Anyone have a tank of beggers??

All fish learn to do this.
You show up and you drop food in so they associate you with food. If almost everytime you came by you dropped off a porterhouse with a double shot of crown then id be at the window to.

Re: Anyone have a tank of beggers??
My Fig 8 has always swam to the front when i come into the room. I recently added some Mollies and they just went about their own business until the food landed in the tank. Now when i walk into the room all of the fish swim to the top right corner of the tank waiting to be fed, it took about a month for them to learn but I can't tell if they learned it on their own or from the puff.
