puufed up puffer not looking so good

Post by 1st timer »

Up untill this morning my gsp was doing fine. Very active and eating well. just checked up on him and he's slightly puffed up and his skin looks a bit wrinkled. His belly is stilkl all white .I have a zoa that's doing great,a clove polyp that hasnt opened up yet and a star polyp that just opened up today....got these corals last week. Params are ammo 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 10 sg 1.024 and temp is at 79F. The only thing that has changed is that i added another base rock yesterday. Maybe i didnt rinse it good enough cause when i put it in the tank some dust came off the rock, I left it like that cause i figured the filters would pick it up. Skimmerless set up running 2 AC 50 with bio mass, phosguard, hypersorb and poly filter(which is light brown).
What could be wrong?

I would definitely add a skimmer.

So sorry to hear this... Zoas are one of the most toxic things on Earth.
