Carrots must taste like some corals, is well know that these puffers eat corals, don't they?

I'll try it out, mine seems to like pink or red foods. Maybe it is a color thing?

I have had success with watermelon. I think it is because it resembles tuna flesh or other red meats such as beef. I once had my puffers eat some previously frozen spinach that is normally intended for my goldfish.

Isn't there any risk when you feed them random foods? I mean I guess if they aren't processed foods they would be safer but I personally would be nervous.

Welcome. Random foods can be bad if you don't use common sense. Things like melon are predominantly made up of water so on the whole it's safe. I would not try lemons though lol.
