Arothron hispidus tempers

I was curious about people's experiences concerning temperaments of stars and stripes puffers (Arothron hispidus). I was chatting with a friend who says he has witnessed, "what a bored s&s is capable of.". In his opinion they are much more agressive and can cause more damage (because of their large beak) than say a d. Holocanthus. Everything I have read has pointed to the opposite of that opinion stating they tend to more shy and on the docile end of the puffer spectrum. So, please share if you have any input on this and how you think they compare in this regard to other available marine puffers. I know puffers have their individual temperaments, I am talking on a more general level though.

I have never owned one and haven't had personal experience with them. However I was talking with a lady at the LFS, she was asking me about the differences between brackish water puffers and her stars and stripes.

She told me her Stars and stripes was nasty it even bit her boyfriends arm while he was cleaning the glass. She said he didn't know that the wooden spoon next to the tank was to keep the puffer at bay. I really don't know this person well but it kind of goes along with what your friend was saying.

I say if you want one get one just don't wiggle your fingers in the tank :)
