Re: gsp and coral
I think most puffers would have a munch on corals.
I hope you don't mind me asking ... but are you a friend of Lesley's ? I notice that you're in Bangor, NI

Re: gsp and coral
You could try them with some of the nastier-tasting ones, like mushrooms & leathers.

Re: gsp and coral
Tagging on a question: how about GSP and SPS? Still a no-no? or nom-nom as the case may be ??
I've got so many tiny stumps and frags of Kenya tree in my reef that I would not mind someone developing a taste for them....plus getting a SW puffer, oh yeah!!

Re: gsp and coral
We have been trying a few corals with our GSP (picking up damaged or tiny frags) so far so good. We have a brain coral that seems to be doing really well and treated with no interest at all. Mushroom also seem to be doing well opening up really full all the time with no visible bite marks. We got some kenya trees with the live rock and I think I've seen a chunk or 2 out of those but that is the only one that seems to be getting harassed. Currently Spotacus is about 3"-3.5" so who knows what he'll decide to taste in the next few years.

Re: gsp and coral
I keep alot of different corals with my gsp including softies,LPS, SPS and all is good for me. Probably just depends on there individual behavior. Oh they did try to eat my feather dusters so moved the tubes further down into the LR and they stopped nipping at them. They never nipped at the actual feathers. I say its worth the risk just keep them well fed and tons of crunchy foods just to keep them from being tempted.

Re: gsp and coral
I was thinking some mushrooms, leathers and a pulsing Xenia possibly.
